Thy Kingdom Come – 10th–20th May 2018 – A Wave of Prayer
- Helen Reeves
Join us and millions of people around the globe in a wave of prayer. Thy Kingdom Come is a simple invitation to pray between Ascension and Pentecost for friends and family to come to faith.
Prayer moves us closer not only to God, but to one another. It connects us with those whom we otherwise cannot see. Prayer breaks down division, in prayer we take each other’s hands and find our safe stronghold.
Archbishop Justin Welby
We have challenged ourselves to pray as a church 24/7 between Sunday 13th May and Sunday 20th May in one hour slots. If you would like to pledge to pray for an hour during that week please email Rev. Helen stgeorgecurate@gmail.com to add your name and receive a prayer guidance sheet.
On the evening of Wednesday 16th May 7pm–9pm we are holding a prayer service; an opportunity to pray together or to spend some quiet time in church where there will be prayer stations available to guide you.
You may also like to join in via the daily App which offers videos, podcasts and prayer guidance; further details of that and many other prayer ideas are available on the Thy Kingdom Come website www.thykingdomcome.global
However you spend your prayer time, may God bless you and those you pray for. Amen.
